ORIGINS

Helping Hands Behavioral Outreach, Inc. was founded in 2004 by Dr. Vanetta LaRosa, a leader in the field of Psychology, with the vision of addressing the unique challenges faced by youth with disabilities in engaging in physical and social activities.

Recognizing a gap in services that cater specifically to this demographic, we embarked on a journey to create programs that not only promote physical fitness but also enhance social skills and self-esteem.

Over the years, we have built a reputation for excellence and have become a trusted resource for families and communities in Nassau and Suffolk counties. Our commitment to continuous improvement and adaptation has been a cornerstone of our success.

We regularly assess the needs of our participants and refine our programs to ensure they remain relevant and effective. This proactive approach has enabled us to build strong relationships with local organizations and community supporters, further expanding our reach and impact.
